Individual therapy is a one-on-one session in person or virtually held for fifty minutes once a week.

When I compare clients who have had a total of six sessions, the one who comes in weekly always makes more progress than the client who comes in twice a month or less frequently. It is important to me that you make progress.  Once a client calls, I know they are ready to feel better. I want to dig in and help you heal as quickly as possible. I don’t want you to be in therapy forever!

During the first session we will answer the question: If you were to fast forward three months or six months from now and therapy did exactly what you needed, what would your life look like? How could I tell from the outside? It’s important to have a clear picture of what your goal is. That way we can check in regularly to see if we are moving toward that goal. 

 
I utilize modalities to include EMDR, Attachment Theory, Polyvagal Theory, Interpersonal Neurobiology, CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and other mind-body wellness strategies.
